My Hijab Story - How I Started Using Hijab
Assalamu alaikum all. In this post, I will be talking about my hijab story. My hijab story is nothing much fancy. As a kid, I was attending an Islamic school until I was 6 years old. Our school uniform was a Pardha, can you believe it. And of course, I was wearing the Pardha to and from school and the rest of the time I will be in frocks. Family wise, my parents/relatives weren't much religious. Neither Salah/appropriate Islamic way of clothing was maintained in the family. The scarf/the shall be lying either on the shoulders or on the head (with a major part of the hair visible) After I turned 7, I changed my school. And this was the turning point of my life. Okay, I had to mention this - even when I was wearing a scarf above head (not a hijab). I would make sure to place the shall back over the top of my head whenever it went down.
